Frequently Asked

Questions

Is a consultation free?

Yes, your first visit at True Fit is complimentary. When you choose to go ahead and let us do a complete examination and possibly have impressions taken at this visit, only then will there be an exam fee.

What is the cost of denture?

We take huge pride in detail and accuracy when it comes to your treatment. That also includes giving you the information and all the options about the cost and pros and cons of your possible treatment here with us.

Can we give you an ‘estimate’ over the phone? Absolutely! But it is more of a wild guess and we prefer NOT to do it. After all, your first visit here is complimentary. So come and meet us first!

I need dentures. Where do I start?

Right here! Depending on your needs, we do flippers, partial dentures in acrylic and cast, complete dentures, immediate dentures, suction lower dentures and denture over implants. Come in for a complimentary consultation and we will walk you through every step.

Can I wear my dentures at night?

We recommend that you remove your dentures before bedtime, clean them and store them in water overnight. It’ll give your gums and oral tissue a break and allow them to breathe and heal.

Is it possible to have dentures put in the same day as extraction?

Absolutely! These ones are called immediate dentures. We will work with you and your dentist to have your new set of dentures ready for the day of your extractions. If you do not have a regular dentist or if you simply prefer a ‘one stop’ convenience, we can have your extractions done in house. Please contact our office for more information.

My lower denture is very loose. What options do I have?

In most cases, the lower denture is much less stable than the upper denture. This is due to the shape of the gums on the lower ridge and movement of the denture caused by the tongue. Lower Suction Denture can be an option for you. However, the best solution is dental implants. Please come and see us for more information.

I am a long-time denture wearer and I've noticed my bone in my mouth has shrank

Once you have tooth extractions, the bone naturally begins to diminish. Implants are the best option for bone preservation and slowing down the rate of any recession. Would you like to learn more? Come to our clinic, and we will be happy to explain.

Can I eat normally with dentures?

It can take a little time to get accustomed to your new dentures. Here at True Fit, we will assist and guide you in the proper care of your dentures. With time, practice, and patience, you will be able to indulge in all kinds of food.

How do I care for my denture?

Clean your dentures with a denture cleaner which does not have any abrasives or whitening products and soak in water at night. Use a soft bristle brush on your denture and do not adjust or repair your denture on your own. Bring it in to us and we will be happy to adjust it for you.

What is Lower Suction Denture?

This concept, developed by Dr Jiro Abe in Japan, enhances the suction effect of complete lower dentures and allows for denture suction even in patients with mild to advanced resorption of the lower ridge. This newly developed technique for achieving effective suction and stability of the full lower denture has become an alternative treatment option for lower implant dentures. Mr. Sarwari is proud to be certified and able to provide you with this treatment. Please contact us for more information.
